Four men charged in connection with an armed robbery in Oldham

Four men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Oldham.

Jason Peter Hancock (29/06/1990) of Monmouth Street, Oldham has been charged with committing fraud by false representation.

Steven Michael Clarke (22/10/1988) Monmouth Street, Oldham has been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm while committing an offence.

The men have been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford court on Friday 1 March 2019.

Joshua O’Neill (03/01/1994) of Norfolk Street, Oldham has been charged with committing fraud by false representation.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm while committing an offence.

They have been bailed and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford court on Friday 1 March 2019.

A 35 year old man who was previously arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released with no further action taken.

Shortly after 11am on Wednesday 19 December 2018, police were called to reports that a woman had her car stolen at gunpoint at Daisynook Country Park in Oldham.
